INGREDIENTS

Hot Honey Drizzle is a popular taste for dishes like pizza, fried chicken, or roasted vegetables. It adds an extra layer of flavor with a fiery finish.

You can follow the directions below or follow along with the...

3 min

METHOD

1. Pour the honey into a frying pan pan along with the chilies, chili powder and salt and bring to a simmer. Keep on a simmer for approximately 5 minutes.

2. Add in the lime juice. Stir until combined. At this stage give the drizzle a little taste test.

3. Turn off the heat and let cool and allow the chili flakes to infuse with the honey. After 15 minutes strain the honey through a fine mesh sieve pushing the chili flakes against the sieve to retain as much honey as possible.

NOTE: This hot honey drizzle will need to be stored in the fridge for two weeks. If you were to omit the lime and add vinegar you can have the honey sit a room temperature.

Hi, my name is

Chris

Chris here from Sliver and Bite, I have been creating desserts for 4 years and recently started creating real time cooking tutorials on social media. I have always prided myself on creating authentic food with real ingredients. When learning to cook I found a gap in the market for real time cooking tutorials. I slow the process down so the viewer is able to cook along.
